About Mummy Of Many Talents

Hello & welcome to “Mummy of many talents” 

My names Claire-Louise and you may already know me from the blog ‘A boy with Aspergers’ 

I’m not about to give that up… Hell no, I love that blog! This is just me branching out and trying something a little different.

I love to write, it gives me great joy to do so. My blog ‘A boy with Aspergers’ is going swimmingly, it’s all good over there, however I wanted to start ‘Mummy of many talents’ to show myself & others what else I could do and hopefully inspire other mothers along the way. 

However, I don’t want this to be just another “Mummy blog” nonetheless, I am a mummy and dead proud of that, hence my blog title! 

Mummy of many talents will be themeless (for now anyway) I want a place to unleash the creativity as and when it comes. Sometimes I’m sat reading, watching tv or cooking dinner when suddenly I get this urge to write, all kinds of content comes into my head and sometimes it has no relevance to my blog ‘A boy with Aspergers’ so it goes down on paper. I was reading a book full of this content today when I suddenly thought, “Sod it woman, you need to start another blog!”

There are many things I like to engage in and many ideas I hold and this is the place that creativity will be shared. 

Maybe at times it will be an escape, a place to showcase something wonderful; share an idea or just offer some piece of advice that I feel beneficial to another. It will be my expressions as a woman, not just a mother! Hopefully my readers who have been so wonderfully supportive throughout my time blogging will join me here and like this blog as much as my other! 

Only time will tell and if a year down the line ‘A mummy of many talents’ is read and shared on a scale anywhere near my signature blog, then that would be awesome! Lets just wait and see!

Job status: Full time mother to three children, two sons and a daughter, also a part-time Volunteer.

Other places I can be found: My long running & quite successful blog, “A boy with Aspergers” where I’ve been blogging 3 years this month (November 2011) and Yes, I did just blow my own blog horn.

Interests: Law, education, psychology, autism, SEN, dance, art,writing, blogging, social networking, chocolate, shoes, makeup & bags (I have no excuse for the last four, I’m only human after all)!

Ambitions: Complete a law degree, write a book on autism & hopefully one-day have my own brand!

Qualities: I’m not afraid to write it (ever); non judgemental; willing to try;  I have ambition; if I want something I work to get it; I love a bloody challenge.

Downfalls: Sometimes over trusting; have a tendency to put my heals in it; talk a little too much; I’m quite bad at saying no (I hate the word NO)

Passions: My Children, My writing, My art, My voluntary work designed to help others.  

My motto: “If you don’t like it, don’t engage in it… but please don’t bang on about it!”
